Develop and manage The Manufacturer’s Sales Objectives.
Develop plans to achieve objectives- using Annual Operating Plan (AOP), for effective and timely follow-up with buyer.
Develop and manage The Manufacturer’s Sales pipeline analysis – conversion by Quarter, Broker/Distributor, Channel, Customer.
Prepare and present all key sales presentations.
Conduct business reviews with key retailers.
Attend key major trade shows as agreed to.
Manage cost of entry for each class of trade prioritizing investment spending and revenue generation.
Create and manage product detail sheets, price sheets, vendor set up docs/processes.
Consumer Promotional Programming
Spend management of in-store (TPR’s, rollbacks, loyalty programs, etc.); tie to overall Marketing Strategy
Retailer set-up, portal management, maintenance, broker’s promotional program planning as required.
Provide input in development of collateral materials (displays, header cards, brochures, mailers) as required.
Assist in developing targeted communication strategies to ‘tag the right bases’ to ensure maximum exposure at minimal cost to drive brand awareness and trial.
Strategic Financial Planning
Assistance with budgeting and annual operating plan creation
Support- 3 year rolling forecast at account level, measuring store count, penetration, and velocity.
Analysis and Decision Making
Conduct data evaluation on shipment history, POS, and third party data (IRI, Nielsen) to evaluate trends.
Use diagnostics tools in managing raw data of current telling a compelling story to support overall brand objectives.
